As a Field Scan Technician, your primary role is to perform technical laser scans of assigned projects. Metal Design Systems seeks motivated people as their Field Scan Technicians, who pay attention to details and stand firm under pressure from General Contractors
Detailed Responsibilities:
- Accurately complete Technical Field Scan of designated sites
- Inspects project site for sound structural stability
- Observes and notates potential production challenges
- Takes digital photography of project sites and concern areas
- Coordinates field site meeting with GC, customer, and/or building owner
- Hand off project to modeling team
- Experience in blue print reading preferred
Required:
- Position requires travel 50 – 75% of the time
- Physical unassisted lifting of up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver’s license
