Working along side the Honda Program Designer, Metal Design Systems has developed a systematic approach for the new branding elements for the American Honda Motor Company, Inc.
The Closed Wave features a pre-engineered for attachment to the building structure with fewer connection points. The ACM panels are pre-installed, aiding in the avoidance of the complex field building and field measure process. This wave has a maintenance free hidden drainage point and eliminates the need for a gutter along the building. Additionally, pre-installation of lights is available for a “plug and play” approach.
The Entry Cylinder utilizes our Series 44 System, a Non-Progressive Drained and Back Ventilated Rainscreen that is maintenance free. This system uses reveal joints rather than caulk and allows for thermal movements in all directions. Performing to standard testing criteria, this system is the perfect fit for the Honda Program.
The Open Wave is designed for high snow load regions and eliminates the need for extra support to manage the snow. This wave eliminates the need for gutters or special drainage and is pre-engineered for attachment to the building structure with fewer connection points. This visually looks the same in size and color from a street view and provides shading at various levels throughout the day
