The Moline Library features a copper composite material in both natural and patina finish. The designer wanted a sustainable finish and like to look of the shingle system. Metal Design Systems’ Series 60, Flat Lock Shingle System was selected in both square profile with running bond layout, as well as an aged patina finish in diamond shaped profiles. The aged patina finish was accelerated with a process done in house at our facility. The completed project is aesthetically stunning with high mechanical performance in the Series 60 and a long lasting copper composite material which matches the design criteria impeccably.
