Metal Design Systems provided numerous wall cladding solutions for the University of Iowa Transportation Center. The main building featured a custom suspension system and sub framing, 8mm Swiss Pearl Fiber Cement panels on the walls, soffits and the interior, utilizing our exposed fastener system with three colors. Our Series 70 System was also utilized for the grey ACM in an open joint Rainscreen. The skywalk features MDSI Series 20 Rainscreen as a complimentary solution for the soffits in a matching grey ACM with a custom closure and 12 gauge sub framing.
